And it goes to show that we weren't slogging for nothing! :D Omg it was so scary when Laoshi told us because she really sounded like she was kidding! It was like a dream.
Seven minutes just passed by in a blink of the eye. We were on stage, and the next thing we knew, we were off stage.
Everything felt so surreal.
Maybe it was destined to be like that. Before that, we weren't dancing properly. We weren't even focused. But once the competition time neared, we started getting more serious and really tried our best to jing xia lai. I believe that everyone put in their utmost best, and that's the reason why we performed so well! Laoshi must be very proud of us; she was so worried before that.
I guess all those mentally and physically draining practises we've had before really paid off! I hope that we will be able to reach our expected target, or even higher. We've pushed our limits, broken our barriers and we've definitely gained alot from this SYF. Especially from Laoshi.
We've gone through so much together, as a whole dance society. TONG GAN GONG KU! We started from scratch!
Last but not least, Thanks to all those who wished us good luck etc.! I'm too lazy to name out but you know who you are! :D
I think I'm going to fall into post-SYF depression soon ):
We already did after we stepped out of the backstage. And we all became emo people together! :D

TOMORROW IS THE 16th.
The day we've all been waiting for.
Laoshi has all her hopes pinned on us. Just like how she always says, we are all she has. Let's not disappoint her or anyone else, especially ourselves. We all have expectations for ourselves, just like how the whole school has set their expectations on us. Let's live up to those expectations!
Seven months. Seven months of practice. It wasn't easy. We've worked hard all the way, this is the veryvery last stretch! Let's all put in our best! We all know how hard we've practised. Cast that exhaustion away and just put all the strength you've left into this last dance, before we start regretting.
Seven months of practice in exchange for seven minutes on stage.

Yes, I know.
My blog is Dead.
But we've been super duper busy the past few weeks. With IH proposals and progress research report and worksheets and everything and DANCE! We had to work at ungodly hours almost every night last week. Hahaha but we still complete our work okay (:
SYF is coming reallyreallyreally soon! TEN10 more days! I can't believe time is passing so fast. We don't have much time left already ): I hope we really meet up with our expectations, as well as everyone's expectations, especially laoshi's. Let's all put in our best during dance sessions and practice harderharderharder! It's time we felt the adrenaline rush (: It's time we felt the urge. It's time we start being more focused and committed and less self-centred. Everyone's going through the same thing, so NYCD lets go through it together! WE CAN DO IT!
I think I'm going to feel really empty after SYF. Like, we've been chiong-ing together for so long and suddenly it's all over. And all I'm left with are memories and an empty shell. Life's like that (:
Oh and I've been abandoning Bleach for the past month! D: hahaha so im kind of lagging behind D: lol. Since I don't feel like doing any homework now, and i think there's none anyway, I shall go and watch :D But yet i feel like sleeping. Ohwell i think I'll watch 2 episodes then I'll go back and sleep.
